Sports technicians are classified into 3 levels, each one of them trains the student and future coach to work with specific age and level groups, and they are intermediate and higher level training cycles of the Ministry of Education and Science.

Coach : Level 1
What categories can we train?
All lower categories up to Youth level, apart from youth national league and youth honor division.
Professional profile: Person with a medium-high level of football and a great passion for this sport. Both the age
and the profile is very variable, but we can distinguish:
- Students who already work as coaches, without having the qualification, and want to regulate their situation
- Students who combine their professional activity with training
- Students who finish Secondary Education (ESO), are football players, and use this qualification of
- Medium Degree in Sports Technician (CFGM) as a way to continue in the educational system and reach the Degree
- Superior of Sports (CFGS) or TDS, Superior Sports Technician in football-
Necessary training: Specific Physical Access Test and have the ESO or equivalent (Access Test
to Middle Grade or Maturity Test)
Training time: 4 months ordinary course from November to February or 2 months (Summer Intensive June and
July) (practical training included)
Hours: Option A (Monday to Friday from 9am to 2pm) Option B (Monday and Wednesday from 5pm to 10pm) Option C (Tuesday and Thursday from 5pm to 10pm) Option D (Saturdays , from 9am to 2pm and from 3pm to 6pm)
Complementary training: Prepare the entrance exam to higher grade (if the student intends to continue
training and in the case that he does not have a Baccalaureate)

Coach : level 2
What categories can we train?
Possibility of entering the categories of level 1 and can also be a coach of the National Youth League, and amateur categories from third regional to preferential.
Professional profile: In this case we distinguish between:
- Students who want to obtain Level 2 to have a CFGM of football Technician, which will allow them to take the access test to Higher Level and access the training cycle of higher level of sport: CFGS
- Animation of Physical-Sports Activities or TDS, Superior Sports Technician in Soccer
- Coaches who want to continue progressing in the world of football and have options to train higher-level players
Necessary training: Necessary Level 1 and ESO or equivalent (Access test to Middle Grade or Test of
Maturity)
Training time: 5 months ordinary course from November to March or 2 months (Summer Intensive June and
July) (practical training included)
Hours: Option A (Monday to Friday from 9am to 2pm) Option B (Monday and Wednesday from 5pm to 10pm) Option C (Tuesday and Thursday from 5pm to 10pm) Option D (Saturdays , from 9am to 2pm and from 3pm to 6pm)
Recommended complementary training: Prepare the entrance exam to Higher Grade (if you do not have the Baccalaureate)

Coach : level 3
What categories can we train?
Level 3 is the highest category to which a coach has access in Spain. You can train the categories of the other levels + First Division, 2nd Division A, 2nd Division B and Third Division teams. You can also train Territory and Absolute Picks.
Professional profile: Being the highest level, only the best have real job options to coach teams of these categories.
Necessary training: Level 1 and 2 Middle Grade and Baccalaureate or entrance exam to higher grade.
Training time: 7 months ordinary course from November to May or 3 months (Summer Intensive May, June and July) (practical training included)
Hours: Option A (Monday to Friday from 9am to 2pm) Option B (Monday and Wednesday from 5pm to 10pm) Option C (Tuesday and Thursday from 5pm to 10pm) Option D (Saturdays , from 9am to 2pm and from 3pm to 6pm)

- Any of the Baccalaureate modalities.
- Medium Grade Professional Training.

Performance of programming functions at their level and carry out the teaching of soccer with a view to improving the athlete’s technical and tactical execution, as well as training athletes and teams in this sport
In general terms, the Sports Technician can develop his functions both in the public and private fields p>

- Bachelor of Science in Physical Activity and Sports.
Job Options
Performance of planning and directing functions, training athletes and football teams, directing
their participation in medium and high-level competitions, as well as directing football schools.
